When You Stop Forcing… Things Get Weird
Transacting with the Universe
A couple of weeks ago, I finished training all the people who chose to come to my Bullion Voyage Mastermind in Thailand.
I think we are slowly beginning to realise how special what we have created actually is. The reason people come is clearly financial, but the reason they want to come back is the community and connection to like-minded people.
These people are often so very different, yet they are all like-minded, hence we have created a better than could be expected experience - which we all find a little awe-inspiring, and once again surreal…
And something strange and new happened this time round.
Three people had already recovered 100% of their costs to attend… before they even arrived.
One of them stood up on the final day and announced he’d made enough not only to cover the event… but also the $7,250 success fee that only becomes payable after generating an additional $47,250 in profit.
In other words, he’d made somewhere in the region of $65,000–$70,000… before the event even ended.
That’s weird. In fact, I’ve never heard of this sort of thing ever being achieved before.
It’s also what happens when you stop forcing things.
Exactly one year before, our first group rolled out of Mexico, and now we have completed three mastermind transformational retreats, with two more happening this year. (Cyprus in July & Costa Rica in November).
On a business level, our biggest problem right now is deciding where we will be heading for February 2027… The current shortlist is New Zealand, Hawaii, Indonesia, the Philippines, Tahiti, Barbados, or Fiji…
What a wonderful problem to have!
As I said, this is all surreal. Every part of it.
I remember when I designed the remainder of my life in 2010, whilst writing my second book, Using A Bug Free Mind, you may remember in it one of my designs was to travel the world with friends.
Between 2010 and 2020, I did that a lot!
Then right at the time I had decided to not travel for a couple of years because I was tired of the almost non-stop holidays (sorry, business trips) which I’d manifested with that one really cool design… Well, the world simply closed down.
Then, when I fancied it again a few years later, instantly, I came up with a whole new way to travel the world with friends and make even more friends. Like a lot more friends.
But there was one problem with this cunning plan of mine that I hadn’t taken care of…
Back in November 2025, with around 15 places booked for Thailand, I’d had enough of trying to fill the event.
It wasn’t flowing for me. So I was going to stop, as it didn’t feel right to me to continue attempting to get people to come along when we had a training program that delivered 100% success to all participants who engaged after the live part of the trading had ended.
Frankly, it should’ve been easy to fill the events as the promise was so unbelievably strong. Yet it wasn’t easy, and I like easy. I had forgotten that I only do easy these days, and this wasn’t easy.
It felt like I was trying to force the Universe to comply with what I wanted, instead of allowing what the Universe wanted to happen.
Now most businessmen/women would simply push through, ‘try’ harder, ‘make it happen’. But for years now, I’ve moved to an acceptance and surrender state when it comes to business.
Most businessmen would consider this to be me being weak; however, it is simply a personal choice, and it fits my design for my life.
So, trying to fill the event felt to me that I was attempting to force the Universe to comply with what I wanted to happen. So it felt wrong to me to continue to do this.
However, my very good friend and co-host Nicola came to the rescue and gave me some guidance, which was to just send out testimonial and feedback emails, rather than me writing new messages. Because she knew there were a lot of people who wanted to come to Thailand who were currently on the fence.
…And she knew she needed to keep me going, because I only do easy. So she was managing me.
What she proposed was easy enough, so I did what she said and, sure enough, we sold the event out without a problem, and with only a few hours’ work from me. So full kudos to Nicola for that for sure.
But this had exposed the real problem.
I did not want to find it hard to sell an event that delivered so much value to people. So I decided to use my manifesting skills to help.
I said to the Universe, ‘I am happy to run these events and give the people you choose what they need, but only if you make them easy to fill.’
Please don’t misunderstand, I did not need the Universe to fill them up; I was okay with a clear rejection (pure surrender - chapter 16 A Bug Free Mind).
But I knew I was doing the Universe a favour by running them. All the lives I was helping to change meant the Universe owed me… The deal was that the Universe got to choose who to help, along with those who chose it too.
This all sounds arrogant, but, unlike other people who train people to make money, I actually make more money applying what I teach for myself than I make from selling tickets to an event.
The Universe knew this too, so my thinking was, it knew I was doing it a favour and providing it a service to help those it chose to.
So I was transacting with the Universe.
…And now it had a decision to make.
Did it want me to continue to run the events, or was it okay with me stopping?
I was easy either way; I had surrendered to the outcome, and I had made my decision. The Universe made it easy, or I stopped. No feeling bad, no regret, I would just accept its choice… I was going with the flow, rather than trying to fight against the current.
It didn’t take long for the Universe to respond; we received a full event payment for Cyprus from a previous Mastermind attendee within a few days.
Then another previous attendee said he wanted to come along and bring his two children. Then another previous attendee paid in full as well, and he wanted to bring his wife.
Then two more previous attendees booked to come along, one bringing a friend. Then two more, one with a friend. Then, around ten people paid a refundable $250 deposit. So, without trying, circa 18 of the 25 places were already filled.
I think the Universe wanted to make it clear to me that it wanted me to carry on - message received, and challenge accepted.
Since then, 2 more places have gone to previous attendees, and more deposits have come in. We now have 5 full-price ticket sales already paid, and we have not even shown the event details page yet, or even announced the dates (other than that it is in July).
So we have enough full payments and deposits to cover almost the whole event, and I’ve effectively done nothing to get to this point. So the Universe sure made it easy.
…So, because it is Cyprus, and I know the restaurants we will be going to (because I used to live very nearby), we are opening it up to an extra 5 people now because over half of the room is already attendees coming back again.
Which means I will be teaching 30 people in Cyprus. Currently, there are only 8 places remaining, and we are over 4 months away.
Can you feel how special this is to me, and clearly to all those who are coming back?
Firstly, the Universe listened and delivered its answer, which was, “Keep Going”.
Then all the people coming back to an event which purposefully had no up-sell planned. I gave everyone everything they needed at each Mastermind, and still they came back and are coming back. One attendee from Mexico is planning on coming to all three events this year.
Why? Because he loves them, and of course, he has made a fortune. He hit his target last year of becoming a millionaire, and is now approaching 75% of the way to becoming a multi-millionaire.
That’s why he’s coming back, he loves it.
He told me this while we enjoyed some Cocktails at the swim-up bar after one of the training days in Thailand.
To be clear, I gave all my attendees:
7 days of live training delivered by me
1 day of hanging out by the pool, community masterminding
My pre-event accelerator training - where three people made 100% of their costs to attend in Thailand before the event even began
12 months of support via our online community, plus weekly market updates from me, plus my weekly list of ‘Chosen Ones’, all with profit targets. Plus, the occasional impromptu training Zoom meetings
A cost-neutral event, where currently, 100% of attendees who participate in the ongoing group challenges recover 100% of their costs in an average of 96.74 days (I’m working on lowering the time it takes by 35%)
All this, and more… So I didn’t keep anything back to try and up-sell them…
And still they want to come back…
We couldn’t really get our heads around it other than because we are always improving, so there is always more to learn…
But one attendee began to give us a clue when he said, “This isn’t just a seminar, it’s a transformation.”
It turns out, without us realising, we were selling people what they wanted - to become a master at trading, and change their futures, but we were also giving them what they need, which is transformation, community, and connection to people they want to be connected with.
Even so… all these people coming back is both surreal and extremely touching for me.
To have trained myself to be able to teach replicable success is one of the most personally rewarding things for a teacher to achieve. I think even my Dad would be impressed.
Sure, I get paid decent money, I get to travel the world with friends, I get to make new friends, I get to travel the world with my family, and I get to travel to other countries too. I get to work with friends and family, and I am currently typing this to you from Luang Prabang Airport in Laos, whilst waiting for our flight to Vietnam.
I am here with my family, and we are all loving our trip to six countries in Asia.
So, can you imagine how grateful I feel for all of this right now?
Which also means, without trying to manifest, I am doing so, as just by feeling grateful, I am asking the Universe to send me more things like this to be grateful for in the future.
I am showing my subconscious mind what success looks like for me, thereby enabling it to deliver further success…
You have got to love how manifesting works!
But with all those wonderful things, what I also get is the sense of personal achievement, that I, a talented amateur when it comes to trading stocks, have produced a training program that has a 100% success rate at getting people into the top 2% of traders worldwide.
This alone is mental!
People with pensions that are effectively losing money, thanks to the government’s continually devaluing their currency, are now able to produce extraordinary results, and change their and their families’ lives, thanks to me being able to teach trading in a way where people can apply it and have the mental resilience to handle all the ups and downs.
Over my years as a mindset expert, I have worked with plenty of people who teach people to trade, and none of those ‘experts’ have ever come close to this success rate, like not even a little bit close… Which makes this even cooler to me.
Because I love beating the experts at their trade - this is where I allow my ego a little room to play :-)
I digress… Going back to the Thailand event now…
Then there were all the people at the Thailand event, several of them want to come to Costa Rica and bring family and friends too - they are so certain that what I teach them will work that they are already looking to come to a future event… Truly Amazing!
One couple want to come to Cyprus, and one lady wants to have her children go through the training with her in Cyprus, too.
One person asked me if his wife could come just for the mindset part of the training, as he thought it would help her a lot.
Another lady has been teaching her clients my A Bug Free Mind work for over a decade, and she would like me to run an entire event just for her clients, as she knows they will love it.
Now, all of this is what great customer feedback looks like, and even though I planned it to work this way, seeing it happen is still amazing.
I never planned this as a business; it was a good excuse to go on holiday to wonderful locations with friends. But I was clearly open to a greater manifestation. And boy did I get one!
As I mentioned earlier, 3 people who came to Thailand had already recovered 100% of their costs to attend before they arrived, thanks to my Pre-Event Accelerator program!!!
This is helping me to potentially achieve my target of an average of just 60 days for people to recover 100% of all their costs.
What's more, I have adapted the training to ensure we get 100% of the room to achieve this, this time round too!

It’s going to be a 30-minute-ish documentary-type video with lots of feedback, and he is quite good at videography, so it should give a far greater feel as to what you will experience than my words can ever do. But unfortunately, it is not ready yet! And I have told him to let me have a draft version to get it done sooner…
