Unlearning Conformity: Reclaiming Your Potential
The Cost of Conformity: Understanding the Personal Impact of Suppressed Potential
I wrote an article yesterday explaining how we are programmed against capturing opportunities (link to it here), and I thought I’d go a little deeper.
From the moment we're born, society begins to shape us. We're taught to follow rules, fit in, and avoid standing out. While structure and guidance are essential, excessive conformity can and almost certainly does stifle our true selves.
Creative children enter the school system, and programmed bots come out. This becomes obvious when we look at it with open eyes.
Consider the child who loves to draw but is told that art isn't a "real" career. Or the teenager passionate about music, discouraged from pursuing it because it's not "practical." Over time, these messages accumulate, leading us to suppress our passions and settle for paths that simply don't fulfil us.
This suppression doesn't just affect our careers; it seeps into every aspect of our lives. We begin to question our worth, doubt our abilities, and lose touch with our inner desires. The cost? A life lived in the shadows of our potential.
This is why it is rare that we can make good decisions when opportunities present themselves.
But just how do they even present themselves? Is it all just a coincidence? No, we create, that’s what we do. We are very, very good at it. It is the very nature of our being. But we struggle to ‘believe’ that.
How it works despite our programming is, we have a free thought at some point, when we simply ask for something, either in a feeling or in words. Then our subconscious mind orders that it show up in our life.
The shape may be different from expectations, and it may come disguised as work or some other nasty. But what we order shows up.
However, when it does, thanks to our programming, we are more than likely not mentally equipped to respond. We have been programmed out of ‘just expecting things to work out’ the way a child does without a single thought, and instead programmed to think, ‘it’s a trap!’
Do you feel the difference between how naturally a child can do this and how awkward our adult minds are?
So we fail to take the opportunity when it presents. Because we can’t see it clearly through our programmed conformity.
So instead, we see it in a skewed way, but we forget that we asked for it, and that it also isn’t going to show up looking exactly like we asked.
So we end up abandoning our dreams because they seem unrealistic and this manifesting ‘sh*t’ doesn’t actually work.
So we self-program the incorrect conclusion. Ready for the next time we accidentally manifest what we want. Then we can repeat the conformity trap and curtail our true potential.
Simply put, we manifest; it is the very nature of our being, which is why you are here reading this now. Yet we are programmed to think in terms of coincidence. As coincidence is far more explainable in the current, but diminishing, world scientific viewpoint.
In the next 10 to 30 years, I predict that people will come to realise that everything is about our manifestations and us controlling the Universe around us. But saying that now in our current world understanding makes me look like a loon. I accept that. I surrender to being wrong about the world changing, to accepting it to be the truth too.
But when you have created the outcome you want with your mind as many times as I have, you simply cannot accept the global norm that it is all just coincidence. Everything about that feels wrong when you can control things like the weather :-)
But I don’t expect you to believe me, I expect you to have already figured most, if not all of this out for yourself. Maybe you just don’t dare to believe it, because what if it’s true? Or maybe you just need a few more dots to be connected for it all to snap together.
So the secret is to unlearn the conformity you have been programmed with, and relearn to trust your intuition. As I wrote in A Bug Free Mind, your intuition whispers to you in feelings, your mind (your ego) shouts at you in your voice.
One is the truth, and one wants desperately to be right. But we cannot discern between them well unless we can become fully aware of the presence of both.
When you can see and feel that, then you are free to make unprogrammed decisions.
So, a while back, in a quiet moment when you could think freely, unhindered by conformity, did you ask for an answer to creating more money?
If you did, then I strongly recommend taking another look.

As I said in my last article, if you would like the opportunity of beating Nvidia’s return by 108 times, then this may be just what you’ve been looking for.
Obviously, the chance of hitting that sort of return is not high. But there are only about 2,000 companies in this entire business, and a few of them will likely come close to that. So the chance is not zero, is it?
But the average returns of 2,000%+ should be life-changing enough, and I expect to outperform those, which is why I curated over 150 companies!
How’s your ego coping with such bold, brash statements…
Is it fighting your manifestation, or are you calm?
It is only through calmness, observation without judgement, that we can reclaim our potential.
But our egos don’t want us to know that :-)
If you’d like your chance to jump on this train before it really gets going and I am proven to be obviously correct, then I encourage you to join us in just two weeks’ time!
