Here is the next part taken from my book Creating A Bug Free Mind written in 2010.

FEAR – ANXIETY
~ Can anxious thought add a single day to your life? ~
Jesus
One dictionary defines anxiety as: - distress or uneasiness of mind caused by fear of danger or misfortune
Well we know that FEAR is an illusion, so let’s rephrase that definition of anxiety as:- distress or uneasiness of mind caused by the illusion of danger or misfortune.
So just for clarity, anxiety is something we create about an illusion of what may happen. Ok, so let’s move on to removing the need to create it.
We have all heard of the anxiety gap, and once again it is caused by being here and wanting to be there. I thought before I wrote this I’d take a quick look at what the expert psychologists tell us about anxiety and how they ‘try’ and remove it from people.
Well there was stacks of information on studying it. I’m guessing about 98% of their writing about it and just 2% on curing it. Of course as usual they, as with all the medical world, have it backwards. They are looking at poor people to study how not to be poor. If you ‘want’ to be rich, you study a rich person. So of course they’ve looked at it so hard they have confused themselves to the point of completely disappearing up their own backsides.
I am not surprised that they can keep being paid by clients for years when they could get through this stuff in a few days, weeks or at worst, months. They are not here for the cure, there’s no money in the cure! They are here to prolong the disease.
If I was here to string this stuff, out I could write a book on curing anxiety and a book on each of the other ailments. I could end up with 50 books on psychology and be considered the world’s expert in it. None of them would work as well as what I am writing here because they wouldn’t get to the point quickly enough. You may think I am dragging it out enough as it is, but I am attempting to ensure change with the vast majority of people. But can you imagine how boring a text book on this stuff is?
I could easily attain world preeminent status though, as an expert in the field. I’m not interested in becoming a world expert in the field of giving people back the control of something that is already theirs. I’m interested in curing the problem fast to get people to have the lives they desire. I’m far more interested in focusing on preventing the disease ever from re-occurring than focusing on the cure. The guys who live in this world of the ‘cure’ have it backwards. I expect you to be teaching this stuff to your children and to all who will listen, that way together we can change the world.
There’s a simple formula: close the doors on the emotional resistance levels, share stories to emphasise the points, then give a practical way to apply the knowledge. Anxiety like stress, worries and fear, are ailments of the mind. All of which can be cured without pills, just with the application of the light of observance.
No wonder psychiatrists make this stuff out to be complicated to people. It is complicated as they can’t understand for themselves each layer of bulls**t which has been written on the subject! They end up assuming it must be right because there are a lot of words there.
Then when they think they have read enough, they contribute to the sea of words that do not cut to the chase at all! Still you have to admire their ability to create an income out of fresh air, as people really think anxiety is incurable. Rant over, let’s cure it and prevent it from coming back.
What Might Happen In The Future
~ Anxiety is the space between the "now" and the "then." ~
Richard Abell
Simply put, anxiety is a fear of what might happen in the future. It is not a fear about something that is happening now. Anxiety is an excuse we create to ‘try’ and justify our need to worry.
‘Basically it is all egoic bulls**t!’
If it is in the future, then it is not now. Remember, our past has shown us we will have all we need in the future to deal with whatever situation arises, in the same way as we have all we need now to avoid the situation arising. Also bear in mind that which you fear may actually be what you need to complete your life! While your ego is in charge, you really can’t know what is best for you.
Anxiety though will creep up on you if you allow it to. Anxiety is caused by not being present. It is a fear of danger, well as I previously said if it’s a fear then we know it is an illusion and therefore can be removed as it holds no value. Let’s look at fear of loss, i.e. a job.
Well whatever we think about becomes our reality. Consider not getting anxious about this, instead focussing on doing our job better. Instead of spending time feeling anxious, we allow ourselves to consider how can I do this job better? How can I improve the outcome for my customers, my boss, etc? Then what place does anxiety have?
You would excel at what you did and the job would remain. If it didn’t and the job went, then that is the best possible outcome for you! It only temporarily appears to not be. Either way it’s right and either way anxiety has no place.
It would seem simple, as anxiety clearly holds no value for us in helping us get where we ‘want’ to go. However, we can attain certain excitement from anxiety. For example, let’s say you are about to jump out of a perfectly good aeroplane for the first time (I mean skydiving!) You would probably feel anxious. Again, this feeling could be controlled, but that feeling being there may be part of the fun. Never having jumped out of a perfectly good aeroplane, I wouldn’t know! But I have taken plenty of risks.
Using Anxiety
~ Anxiety is the hand maiden of creativity ~
T. S. Eliot
There is a fine line between anxiety and excitement, and if you are in complete control then a point of good creation can be reached. But this is such a fine line that I do not see the benefit of trying to attain this, as it is like playing with fire. There are better ways to create than putting yourself in that sort of position.
I have personally been able to achieve this, as I seem to be able to find the balance automatically. But I have seen the panic in many business partners’ faces when I take it to that point.
After consideration, if you love taking risks and you see them as pure enjoyment, then you may ‘want’ to use this. In fact, if you are that sort of weirdo like me, then you probably already have. However, if you get it wrong then anxiety can easily turn to panic, I’ve seen that in plenty of people. People think I’m weird when they think I should be panicking and I am in fact laughing.
I can find the balance really easily. You may be one of the ones who can too, but if you don’t know you can then why ‘try’, as it is totally unnecessary. A real skill in life is to play to your strengths. Experiment if you desire to, but this skill is not necessary at all to create wealth. In fact I would say that is a burden as it takes a lot to get it right.
You are here for a good life, so why make it hard by ‘trying’ to acquire a skill you do not need? This is like learning the language of the Incas; if you ‘want’ to study just that then it could be useful, but there are far more useful things to learn.
Swapping A False Belief To Knowing The Truth
~ Our beliefs act as lenses. These lenses can help us see things we can’t otherwise see, but they can also block us from seeing parts of reality. ~
Steve Pavlina
True intelligence is willingness to exchange fallacy for fact. Be careful what you ‘believe,’ as a ship tied to a dock cannot explore the land. A person tied to a ‘belief’ cannot see beyond the ‘belief.’ This holds true not for just anxiety, but for so much. Continually question your ‘beliefs,’ even the ones you know to be true!
People ‘believe’ they cannot relieve their anxiety, and of course whatever they ‘believe’ becomes their reality. I ‘believe’ I can live every day for the rest of my life without the need to ever feel anxious again… which way is better?
If our ‘beliefs’ are wrong and we know it, then we know it because we don’t have what we ‘want’ (it’s a pretty clear sign). Anyway, if we know it then why don’t we change them? Simple, we have been programmed to fear change.
We are addicted to certainty, so we would rather be certainly miserable than to risk being happy and satisfied. We have been programmed to always look for security and survival and we have been heavily programmed to fear the unknown – ‘there be dragons there!’
We fear the anxiety of change, even when we know the change is positive. We feel that by fearing it we are in some way protected – this is insane…what a load of rubbish. How did we ever end up with this warped thinking?… Some idiot with letters after his name or a certificate came up with it and then everyone followed. Then whenever someone stood up and said to the crowd, hey everyone! Are you all mad?... they stoned him!
Anxiety Is Present Because You Are Not
~ Men are anxious to improve their circumstances, but are unwilling to improve themselves. ~
James Allen
The difference between successful and unsuccessful people is how they handle change. Successful people have anxiety too, I do from time to time but I just don’t let it immobilise me. I study my emotions and observe my reactions, then when I have seen them for what they are (delusions), I move forward again.
Unsuccessful people let their anxiety immobilise them. This is an unconscious decision, now though you are conscious of it. You allow your anxiety in, which is only there because you are not. If you are not present, the vacuum left by you not being there, is easily filled by anxiety amongst other things. If you are present you can look at your anxiety and see it for what it is - NO Thing - It is not there.
Unsuccessful people hit a ceiling and because they cannot understand, and fear change, they have no ability to move on. They are then left frozen, trapped in time and doomed to repeat every day again for the rest of their lives… Having just moments of enjoyment along the way to then, one day on their death bed, look back and realise that their fear has cost them their entire lives… well that’s even if death can wake them from their sleep!
Don’t let it happen to you as you now have a choice because I’ve shown you the door to exiting from this worldwide state of madness!
There is no security between the cradle and the grave (get over it). The only security there is, is our ability to create and produce results. I intend to give several gifts to my children and one of the prime ones is the ability to create, this can be learnt and does not only belong to the entrepreneurs.
Mistakes are inevitable (I like mistakes, you should too). When I was taught to fly I realised that the plane was off course nearly all of the time. In fact it would only stay on course for a few seconds at best… but guess what? I always got to the place I was heading.
It doesn’t matter that we are heading slightly in the wrong direction most of the time, what matters is that we make regular and continuous course corrections… This is pretty basic stuff but we all just learn something, think that our minds will remember it for us and present it to us constantly as we need it to.
Guess what? This takes time and repetition. Say to yourself once, I am a multi-millionaire, my biggest problem is that I have to decide where to invest my money. Say it once and it’s gone, say it a million times and your biggest problem will be where to invest the money… repetition is a master skill!
If you run an advert, you don’t run it once and say, well that didn’t work - you run a campaign. If you expect to read this book once and have real lasting change then don’t kid yourself, you need to focus on what is wrong. The way to focus on it is to re-read, as your state of mind will be different every time you do. Some part you will retain probably 30%, but for lasting change you’ll probably need multiple reads. Right now your ego will probably be telling you, ‘I don’t think so, you’ll find the answer in another book instead of ‘working hard’ and re-reading something you have already read!’
You see how your ego sneaks up and self-sabotages you in a fraction of a second… Do you ‘want’ to beat him or her? Then simply make an absolute conscious decision to read and re-read this five+ times. If you do that then you will be mainly in control; you will have the skill-set required to take you the rest of the way. Spend time on the site chatting with other people who have read the same material; a self-help group really works!
Bear in mind that I read and practised this stuff countless times before I could master it. I did it because I knew I had to, but I had an advantage over you. I had been there so I knew what ‘there’ looked like. Therefore, I knew what I had to do to get back there. To you, you’re looking for a map with a guide sitting on your shoulder handing you the directions… so it’s down to you to choose who to ‘believe.’ I can only show you the door!
If in doubt and you find that you still fear something, then go back and re-read with the fear in mind. You’ll then be able to observe your thought pattern and in the action of observation you’ll remove the thought which is not helping you get where you ‘want’ to go. Make continual corrections, don’t protect your ego, embrace your mistakes. Learn from them.
You can’t improve who you are, the real you, your higher self is perfect. You can however, improve your performance. Through ignorance you will make mistakes, so what!
What Do I Have To Fear Right Now?
~ Our doubts are traitors and make us lose the good we oft might win by fearing to attempt. ~
Shakespeare
Doubt is a code word for fear. The middle class is afraid it can’t or won’t become rich. So they seek comfort to hide from the fear of failing and having to face it… I struggle to understand this attitude, even when I see it in nearly every single person.
Change teaches us new things that we need to learn, look at children. Before they are 8 years old they are free from fear and they are curious, after they pass 8 their level of curiousness turns to anxiety. Successful people are curious and it is irrelevant to them what the consequences are because they are curious; they ‘want’ to know.
Ask yourself, what do I have to fear or worry about right now?
Nothing of course, because you are either dealing with it or accepting it. So why should you feel anxious at all?
Look at what you are anxious about, observe it, sit inside your head and bring up the subject, observe your ego telling you what it ‘wants’ you to hear. Listen without judgement, i.e. don’t get sucked in. If you cannot do this, then it is because you have not yet learnt the skill of controlling your mind.
If that is the case them go back and either read the chapters or watch the videos again. But if you ‘want’ the life you ‘say’ you desire, you must regain control of your mind first, before you can have an uninterrupted period in your mind where you can then notice your mind’s irrationality.
If you haven’t learnt to control your mind to the point of being able to see that a thought is irrational and dissolve it, then you need to keep practising (this is time VERY WELL SPENT – in fact this is the single best use of your time, otherwise you are stuffing new software onto a bug infested mind). It doesn’t matter that you can’t do it yet, it matters that you keep applying it until you can.
It is no use to you to know that you need to get rid of an irrational thought if you do not have the power to remove it. This is like trying to put the roof on without building the walls – get your ar*e back to the mind control, bring in no mind, hold no mind for 15–60 seconds and re-read the chapters again. I wasn’t joking when I said that mind control was the number one skill in creating wealth.
Dissolving Anxious Thoughts
~ The mind that is anxious about the future is miserable. ~
Seneca
Ok, so for those who are in control and have done the things I suggest in order, look at what you are anxious about. Let’s say it is about job security, or it is about not making a success.
So you are anxious about not being a success – does that feeling and thought process take you toward success or away from it? Don’t judge, just observe…
So you are anxious about your job security – does that feeling and thought process take you toward job security or away from it? You’ll say neither as you don’t have control. Say hello to your ego again.
You know you have control, you can find another job, you can create another income. You can do your work so well that you will be the last person to go, as you will not think you are too valuable, you will be too valuable. You are also bringing about job insecurity by just looking at that possibility – we create our future. It’s probably very difficult not to as all of your colleagues are talking about it unconsciously. You have to remain present and see their chatter for the anxiety generator that it is.
So I’ll ask again, you are anxious about your job security – does that feeling and thought process take you toward success or away from it? Don’t judge, just observe…
Do you get it? Every anxious thought needs to be looked at. As you feel anxious, look at this as a benefit, as it is like someone highlighting an area which you need to look at. So while you still have anxious thoughts, be grateful for them as they will show you where you need to look.
Then soon you’ll have less and less anxious thoughts and you can be grateful for that instead… this is not rocket science, it is just observing how we think.

I’ll publish How To Overcome All Fears Part 7 either Friday or Monday.
Best wishes,
Andy
P.S. I have scheduled the Private Members Webinar for Wednesday 21st February at 3.00pm UK time. If you can’t make the time, then the replay will be up soon after.
If you’d like to join the webinar, then please upgrade to paid.
Here’s a list of some of the subjects we will be covering:
The Bank insurance problem
The US Commercial property problem
How we are in the almost everything bubble
The wealth transfer
Question from John: Andy, how do you rationalise your admiration of Trump and his support for Israel and specifically for their current Prime Minister?
Question from Julie: What is the best way to prepare for the worst possible financial scenario, as described in The Great Taking - a link you suggested. It is very disturbing and so I would be interested in what you plan to do yourself.
Question from Will: I don't want chaos, yet I believe "the system" of order we are following at the moment is beyond repair. "The system" has to go... yet my intention is not to be against something, but to be FOR something. In your opinion, Andy, what are some new systems that we can support and even build ourselves? Thank you.
Question from Gillian: What happens if you get to the bottom of the rabbit hole and you really cant see a way out that you like?
Is there a way to become a subscriber using PayPal or Venmo? My darling wife seems to be okay spending money on streaming channels, but it's not okay for me to use our credit card for a Substack subscription that actually offers substance🙃
Andy, if it comes down to it, I'll send cash overseas if I have to, but please let me know if you've come across alternative payment options. 😊Thx!🙏
Thanks Andy. It is refreshing to read through these couple of BFM chapters, especially with what is going on in this world and with the constant beating via social media and local news. It's all programing. Going back to refresh myself in BFM books
